What's wrong with Christmas? Why so many people afraid of the holiday season? Why is the true meaning of Christmas has become a commercial enterprise? Christmas is a good time to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ to celebrate. We must use time honored Jesus and thank God for sending Jesus to save us from ourselves. What causes of stress at Christmas is that you try to make the perfect July We are not perfect people. We do not have a family in 1960. We have relatives who sour drunk at parties. We have children who can not behave as a company comes over. We are tired and worn traveling to visit relatives. We try to do for very special Christmas shopping is perfect for our family, while still trying to get things done each day during the holidays. We still have to work, take kids to school to do was to get the car serviced, take the dog to the vet and dealing with busy shops. We desperately want things to work out perfectly. This is where we lose the spirit of Christmas. We forget that we are not perfect. Our lives are not perfect. Our families are not perfect. Strangers around us in the crowded stores are not perfect. Life is not perfect. So late Christmas plans are flawed. Let the lights do not get made. Forget Christmas ham to order. Let a few people on your July list. Let your family drinks too much and falling asleep in the front yard. Let your kids go skiing with their friends instead of coming home during the winter. Let the plane be delayed nine hours by bad weather in Chicago. Leave a gigantic mess in the Christmas holidays, and you will not regret it anymore. Enjoy the accident. Write them all down and laugh at them next year.So how a merry Christmas? You can change the focus of your July Take the stress on you and put it back in Jesus Christ. Christmas is called Christmas for a reason. It's not Susan or Bob-mas-mas. Put Christ back in your July A first look at christmas Jesus' will help make your July perspective.Jesus was the Son of God. Son of God! You can no better credentials than that. Still own July Jesus was not perfect.Jesus' mother was a virgin when she became pregnant, she turned. She was banished to his pregnant out of wedlock. Jesus' father Joseph, was reluctant to marry her fiance because she was pregnant. So you know someone who is pregnant out of wedlock? They are a part of your Christmas? Mary and Joseph went ahead and got married but both families disapproved. Although not say specificallyin Bible, you can imagine, there were hard feelings on both sides. So you know someone who is hated by the family, she married? They are a part of your Christmas? Mary and Joseph, had barely time to resolve the idea of marriage because she had a long journey to take. Long journeys were not easy back then. They walked most of the way because their ass was not running, he had to carry their belongings. The trip was long, hard and dirty. The trip was no vacation, it had to pay taxes. So you know someone with money problems? They are a part of your Christmas? When Mary and Joseph reached Bethlehem, they did not have the money to stay in an inn. They only made one stall (center) to stay in. They slept with livestock, because it was the only place they could find. They were mostly homeless. They were in the barn to sleep in, because Mary was pregnant, or they would have slept outside with other people too poor to provide housing. Know someone who is homeless? They are a part of your Christmas? There was not a large banquet or shopping for Mary and Joseph. There was no family and friends celebrating the birth of their child. They were alone and hungry in a strange city. Know someone who has a family at Christmas? They are a part of your Christmas? But the most amazing thing happened when their child was born, everything changed for Mary and Joseph. Sure, they were still homeless. Sure, they were still hungry. Sure, they were still far from home. Sure, they were still outcasts in their own families. Sure, they were still obliged to pay taxes to their government. So what changed? Their hearts changed. Their lives were changed by the beautiful love that has entered their lives when Jesus was born. But Jesus was born, so his earthly parents could take, he was like all of us would love that passes all understanding born of experience. A love that we could not find in any other circumstance or any other person. Jesus came to show us love, compassion for us to show us the grace to show us a better way in this world.
